CAMP ROAD, ST ALBANS
The project is to completely refurbish this existing period terraced house to meet current building regulations for thermal performance.
The house is to be extended to include a basement conversion with an enlarged lightwell to the front of the property providing natural light and ventilation.
The ground floor side and rear extensions will house a new open plan kitchen and dining space with views of the garden. Extensive roof glazing will flood the space with natural light.
A loft conversion with a dormer over the main and rear roof will house 2 additional bedrooms including a master suite with walk in wardrobe and ensuite shower.
The existing ground floor bathroom is to be moved upstairs creating a plush family bathroom.

"Christine has worked with us on two previous projects and she is currently helping us with a third. She and Andy are an incredible team. Patient, practical and very good at designing space and thinking about detail. Never is an idea too crazy and Christine is willing to look at all your dream projects even if they seem unusual and she will find a way to incorporate them into your project. They are an excellent Architectural team".
