BRICKET WOOD STATION, BRICKET WOOD
We have been commissioned by the Bricket Wood Station Heritage Trust to carry out a feasibility study of this (c.1903) station, as it is one of the few surviving stations from the Edwardian period and the sole surviving "steam-age" structure on the Abbey Line running from St Albans to Watford.
The building is to be brought back into public use for the benefit of the local and wider community.
A new community cafe with archive facility is proposed. The space has been designed to allow flexibility in it's usage. From local interest talks/groups to birthday parties and outdoor learning resource for local primary schools.
