I like to attend trade shows to not only check out the latest innovations but also get design inspiration.
My first discovery was this honeycomb style plastic screen by surface matters a bit like rodeca (think LABAN centre in South London). Could be used as a internal screen with an element of privacy depending on where you stand and move about.
Secondly for a project where the client wants a minimalist look including polished concrete floor. This concrete finish by Design Concrete is applied like plaster and may be a cost effective approach to get the look they want.
And finally by Lathams timber various funky coloured veneers. I want at all. Could be a cost effective approach to spray painted or lacquered fitted furniture. I'm also thinking we could utilise this for desks in our new office fit out, more likely in a less striking colour.
